We would like to thank everyone that participated in this year's race. We had great coverage with most mile markers covered for the duration of the race. We also appreciate those of you that shifted to a new station when yours secured. It was a great help.
Fortunately we didn't have any medical traffic to pass. From our view at the command post we didn't see too many critical patients so it was a great race in that regard. Even though we didn't have a lot of traffic to pass I hope everyone had the opportunity to brush some cobwebs off of our operating skills.
This was the third marathon for Duval ARES and we had the opportunity to test some new things. JSO was very agreeable to letting us put an APRS tracker in their tail car and it helped give us a real-time view of how the race was progressing. We did have some snags along the route but for the most part it worked well. Stay tuned for sample pictures capture from the APRS tracking.
